  • Kraft paper mailers for documents, clothing, textiles and other non-fragile products.
  • Kraft paper grammage and pack construction are selected according to shipment weight.
  • Paper-padded mailers have a protective paper layer that helps reduce damage from impacts, friction and surface marks.
  • Block-bottom mailing bags with side gussets provide space for bulkier products and accommodate the thickness of the shipment.
  • Rigid paper or paperboard mailers help protect documents, printed materials and other flat products against bending.
  • Paper packaging mainly suits dry transport conditions. For prolonged moisture or high stresses, material and construction need to be selected for the specific transport chain.

Dimensions, closure and returns

  • Standard sizes or dimensions adapted to the product being packed.
  • The format is selected according to shipment dimensions, thickness, weight and protection needs.
  • A well-chosen size limits product movement and can reduce the need for void fill.
  • A self-adhesive sealing strip allows the pack to be closed without separate packing tape.
  • Double adhesive strips are available for selected constructions: the second strip is used to seal a return.
  • An integrated tear strip or tear cord can make opening easier.

Printing options

  • Printing of logos, text, patterns, handling instructions or a complete layout.
  • Flexographic printing mainly suits larger runs and simpler designs in one or more colours.
  • Digital printing enables smaller runs and more detailed or frequently changed designs.

Can paper packaging be used for returns?

Yes, if it has a construction with double adhesive strips. The customer uses the second strip to close the pack for return.

When is a block-bottom mailing bag suitable?

Can a paper mailer always replace a plastic mailing bag?

It depends on the goods and transport. Paper mainly suits dry transport conditions. For prolonged moisture, high tearing forces or particularly demanding transport, material and construction need to be selected for the specific transport chain.
