Dimensions and design

  • Boxes are normally made to suit the product's dimensions, shape, weight and intended presentation.
  • Rigid boxes with removable lids, hinged lids or magnetic closures.
  • Folding premium boxes, normally supplied flat to take up less space during transport and storage.
  • Drawer boxes, round and cylindrical boxes, and boxes for one or more bottles.
  • Boxes with ribbon handles or decorative ribbon closures.
  • Window boxes with transparent windows or open window cut-outs.
  • Product-specific inserts made from paperboard, corrugated board or moulded material. Depending on the product, moulded pulp, foam or other suitable materials may also be used.

Material

  • Rigid boxes are made from greyboard covered with printed or coloured paper.
  • Quality paperboard for folding premium boxes.
  • Design papers, textured papers and other decorative surface materials.
  • Material thickness and strength are selected according to the box's dimensions, design and the product's weight.
  • Material origins and certification options are specified according to the project's requirements.

Printing options

  • Offset printing for single-colour or multicolour designs.
  • Digital printing for smaller runs and samples where the design and material allow.
  • Screen printing on selected materials and for suitable artwork.
  • Logo, all-over printing or repeating patterns.
  • Pantone, CMYK or a combination, depending on production capabilities.

Finishes and details

  • Hot foil stamping with gold-coloured, silver-coloured, coloured or holographic foil.
  • Embossing and debossing (emboss/deboss).
  • Spot UV varnish to highlight selected parts of the design.
  • Soft-touch lamination or another surface treatment with a soft feel.
  • Matt or gloss lamination.
  • Ribbons, magnets, metal details and other decorative additions depending on the design.

Production and delivery

  • More standardised designs: approximately 4–7 weeks after artwork, sample and order approval.
  • Custom designs and special finishes: approximately 6–8 weeks.
  • Actual timing depends on design, material availability, finish, order volume and transport.
  • Delivery terms and delivery time are confirmed for each order.

Artwork files

  • Preferred formats: print-ready PDF, AI or EPS.
  • Text must be converted to outlines and the artwork must follow the approved dieline.
  • Pantone colours and areas for foil, varnish and embossing must be marked separately in the file.
  • Recommended resolution for raster images at final size: at least 300 dpi.
  • If needed, we help check that the artwork meets the technical requirements.

What is the difference between a rigid box and a folding box?

A rigid box is made from thick greyboard and retains its three-dimensional shape. A folding premium box is normally supplied flat and takes up less space during transport and storage.

Can the box have our logo and special finishes?

Yes. Logos, custom artwork and all-over printing are possible. Printing technique, foil stamping, embossing and other surface treatments are selected according to design, surface material, artwork and order volume.

Can you develop an insert for the product?

Yes. The insert is designed for one product or a set with several parts. The material is selected according to the product's dimensions, weight, protection needs and intended presentation.

What is the minimum order?
