The right paper for the contents

SOS stands for Self-Opening Sack. The fold-out block bottom gives the bag a stable shape and makes filling convenient in stores, cafés and production. Dimensions and material can be adapted to the goods.

Kraft paper is a common choice for strength and foldability. Food-grade paper is selected for bakery products and dry goods. When the contents contain grease or moisture, a suitable barrier paper may be needed. Height, width, bottom and top edge are selected according to filling and transport.

A large surface for your brand

What is the difference between kraft paper and barrier paper?

Kraft paper is a common standard choice. Barrier paper provides additional grease and moisture resistance for contents that require it.

Can SOS bags have our logo?

Yes. Flexo printing with up to 8 colours can be used for logos, patterns or full-surface designs. Digital printing on stock products is an option from 50 pcs.

Can the bags be used for food?

Yes, with a food-grade material version. Food-grade paper is specified for bakery products and dry goods; suitable barrier paper is selected where grease or moisture is present.

Does the bag stand by itself?

The SOS construction has a fold-out block bottom that lets the filled bag stand by itself and simplifies handling and filling.
