Dimensions and design

  • Stand-up doypack pouches with pouring caps.
  • Spouted packaging with side gussets for larger volumes.
  • Bag-in-box liners with outer cardboard packaging.
  • Various fill volumes according to product and use.
  • Pouring cap at the top, in a corner or on the front.
  • Cap diameter and design are selected according to the product's viscosity.

Material

  • PET/PE: standard laminate for juice and other liquid foods.
  • PET/MetPET/PE: higher barrier to reduce the effects of light, moisture and oxygen.
  • PET/ALU/PE: high barrier with an aluminium layer for sensitive products.
  • PE/PE: a polyethylene-based monomaterial solution.
  • Material thickness and layer combination are selected according to product, filling method and shelf-life requirements.
  • Materials suitable for food contact are used for food products.

Printing

  • Flexographic printing with up to 8 colours.
  • Digital printing for smaller production runs.
  • CMYK and Pantone colours.
  • Logo printing, all-over printing and repeating patterns.
  • Different designs on both sides of the packaging.

Surface and options

  • Matt or gloss exterior.
  • Transparent window where the design allows.
  • Standard pouring cap or pouring cap with a child-resistant closure.
  • Caps in different diameters and colours.
  • Carrying handles for larger packages.
  • Perforated opening and tear-off solutions.

Delivery time

  • Delivery time for stock products depends on availability.
  • Delivery time for custom-printed packaging depends on material, design and ordered quantity.
  • The production schedule is confirmed after technical conditions and artwork files have been approved.

Artwork files

  • PDF, AI or EPS preferred.
  • Text and logos must be in vector format.
  • The recommended image resolution is at least 300 dpi.
  • Specify colours in CMYK or Pantone.
  • Bleed is added according to the manufacturer's technical drawing.

Project preparation

  • Specify product composition, viscosity, fill volume, filling temperature, required shelf life and filling equipment.
  • Design, material, barrier, pouring cap and printing are selected based on this information.
  • The technical drawing and print design are approved before production.

Resealable pouring caps make dispensing and pouring easy. Flexible packaging takes up little space when empty and can be adapted for retail, restaurants and larger volumes.

A stand-up doypack suits retail, side gussets provide space for larger volumes and bag-in-box is used in restaurants, production and the beverage industry. Material and barrier are selected according to the contents' composition, acidity, sensitivity to light and oxygen, and required shelf life. What types of juice packaging are available?

Can the packaging be resealed after opening?

Yes. The pouring cap allows the packaging to be opened and closed several times. The product's shelf life after opening depends on the contents and storage conditions.

How are material and barrier selected?

According to product composition, shelf life, filling method, sensitivity to light and oxygen, and transport conditions. Viscosity and filling equipment also affect the choice.

Can I order with my own design?

Yes. Logos, product graphics, colours and product information can be printed on the packaging. Flexographic and digital printing are used depending on the project.
