Minimum order quantity

  • Standard tubes without printing: smaller quantities depending on diameter and the manufacturer's stock.
  • Custom printed tubes: from a few hundred pcs per size at some manufacturers, depending on construction; larger factories from 3 000 pcs.
  • For small runs, a standard tube with a printed logo label is often the most economical option.

Material

  • Glued board with approximately 1 mm wall thickness; strength is selected according to product weight.
  • Surface in natural kraft paper, black, white or printed wrapping paper.
  • Inner lining of paper, PE film or aluminium where needed, including for food, fatty or scented products.
  • FSC-certified board can be offered on request.
  • Board can be recycled; the finished packaging's material combination and disposal need to be assessed for the selected construction.

Dimensions and design

  • Two-piece tube: body and removable board lid that slides over the body, a telescopic lid.
  • Three-piece tube: body, inner neck and lid that closes flush with the body.
  • Lid and base in board or metal; food versions may have an aluminium membrane seal.
  • Round, oval and square tube shapes.
  • Common internal dimensions: approximately Ø40–120 mm; larger diameters available to order.
  • Height and diameter are adapted to the product's actual dimensions. Lid fit is selected for secure, easy opening.

Printing

  • Single-colour logo directly on the tube or wrapping paper.
  • Full-surface printing in up to 8 colours on wrapping paper.
  • Printed logo label on a standard tube for smaller runs.
  • Embossed logo on the lid or metal lid.

Options

  • Matt or gloss lamination and varnish.
  • Hot foil stamping and embossing.
  • Ribbons, handles and decorative inner layer.

Delivery times

  • Standard tubes without printing may be delivered sooner, depending on stock.
  • Custom printed tubes: approximately 4–12 weeks after design and sample approval, depending on construction.
  • Exact timing and any sample cost are confirmed in the quote.

Artwork files

  • Print-ready PDF, AI or EPS; logo as a vector file.
  • For wrapping paper, the manufacturer provides a die-cut drawing on which the design is placed.

Two pieces or three?

A two-piece tube with a telescopic lid is a simple and usually more economical option for retail and shipping. The three-piece construction has an inner neck that allows the lid to sit flush with the body and gives a more distinctive gift presentation.

Natural kraft paper gives a craft-inspired appearance, while black or a deep colour suits a more premium presentation. For food, candles and scented contents, the need for an inner lining, metal lid or membrane is assessed. Send the product's actual diameter and height, quantity, and a photo or sample of the desired appearance.

What is the minimum order quantity?

Standard tubes without printing may be available in smaller quantities. Custom printed tubes can start at a few hundred pcs per size at some manufacturers and 3 000 pcs at larger factories. Construction and printing determine the quantity.

Can the tube be adapted to our product?

Yes. Diameter, height and lid fit are adapted to the product's actual dimensions.

What is the difference between a telescopic lid and a tube with an inner neck?

A telescopic lid slides over the body and is usually simpler and more economical. A three-piece tube with a neck closes flush with the body and gives a more premium gift presentation.

Can we get a sample?

A standard sample or a prototype in your dimensions can usually be offered. Cost and timing are provided with the quote.

Is tube packaging suitable for food?

Yes, with an inner lining or membrane suitable for food contact and the contents concerned. Requirements are established according to product type.
